I started at New Life 90 days ago and my inflammation is way down and I’m not as reactive to certain foods anymore. Would highly recommend them.

I found New Life in desperate need because my migraines started to take a toll on me! No medication was working like sumatriptan, topamax , nurtec, Ubrevly, excedrin, etc. I’ve suffered my migraine since I was a child and nothing ever worked for me! After finding new life I will say my life has been better. I’m so thankful for Mrs.Trisha and the team for being so helpful and supportive throughout my journey! Thanks to New Life help, I found out I had Celiac Disease and finally know the cause of my Migraines! Not only in 3 months I’ve had little to no migraines but lost 13lbs! That’s a huge improvement because I’ve never been able to lose weight! Overall, I’m glad to say that I don’t have a bottle of excredrin by my night stand no more😊 Thank y’all so much for all that you’ve done! Highly recommend not only do they help you but treat you like family and not just another individual to throw synthetic drugs at!

I posted this to Google but felt like I should share it here, as well...These people changed my life not just through their medical care, but also with their compassion. All traditional medicine ever did for me was throw drugs at the problem for symptom management rather than getting to the root of the issue. New Life is honestly what I want medicine to look like everywhere, for everyone: doctors and staff (who genuinely give a crap) LISTENING, conducting comprehensive testing, putting together personalized treatment plans, and providing all their support and services as promised. I have a future I can look forward to now, where before I really didn't have anything. It's expensive but to be comfortable, able to ask questions, and just be treated like a person instead of a problem... Worth every penny. I am very blessed to have been in a position where I could pursue healing with the help of these wonderful people. 100/100 would recommend.

About Us
What are the diagnostic tests used for IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's and ulcerative colitis?

To diagnose IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases, doctors utilize a combination of tests. A colonoscopy allows a detailed examination of the colon and can help identify signs of diseases like ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. An upper endoscopy might be performed to inspect the upper part of the digestive tract. Imaging tests, such as CT scans or MRIs, are used to visualize abdominal organs and detect complications. Additionally, blood tests check for anemia or infection, while stool tests can detect inflammation and the presence of pathogens.

Can IBS, Crohn's disease, or ulcerative colitis lead to complications outside the digestive system?

Yes, these gastrointestinal conditions can have systemic effects. Patients with IBS, Crohn's disease, or ulcerative colitis can develop extraintestinal symptoms that affect various other parts of the body. Common complications include arthritis, which can cause joint pain and swelling, and skin conditions like erythema nodosum, which presents as tender red lumps on the skin. Eye inflammation, such as uveitis, can also occur, causing pain and blurred vision. These symptoms require integrated care from a multidisciplinary medical team.

What is the impact of stress on IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases?

Stress is a significant factor that can exacerbate both IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases. Although stress does not cause these conditions, it can trigger flare-ups and worsen symptoms. Patients often report an increase in symptom severity during periods of high stress. Recognizing this, treatment plans frequently include strategies for stress management such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, or medication. Effective stress management is crucial for maintaining overall health and managing these chronic conditions.

How do IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases affect children and adolescents differently than adults?

Managing IBS and inflammatory bowel diseases in children and adolescents presents unique challenges. Young patients may experience symptoms that affect their growth and development, especially with conditions like Crohn's disease which can directly impair nutrient absorption. Additionally, these diseases can have a profound impact on a young person's emotional and psychological well-being, affecting their self-esteem and social interactions. Treatment strategies often require a holistic approach that includes not only medical treatment but also support for educational and psychological needs. Early diagnosis and comprehensive care are key to managing these conditions effectively in young people.
