We’re no strangers to all the different technologies used to achieve more lifted and larger breasts. However, many of those methods have since proven to be more dangerous than they’re worth. The good news is that yes, your own blood can actually create a gorgeous breast lift. Using growth factors and stem cells from platelet rich plasma (PRP). The PRP Breast Lift (PRP-BL) is a great choice for anyone looking for a breast augmentation without the hassle of surgery and long recovery.

Who Can Get It?

Anyone who has a healthy history can easily get this treatment, however, there are exceptions you’ll want to keep in mind. The most common ineligible conditions are as follows:

  • Predisposition to breast cancer or history of breast cancer. Studies have not yet been done to conclude if these injections have any relation to an increase in cancer cells.
  • Are pregnant
  • Are breastfeeding

We strongly advise you to speak with your preferred physician. Most of the time cosmetic or plastic surgeons will perform the procedure. With the proper training, a gynecologist or dermatologist can also assist you with any questions. They will be able to listen to your concerns, look over your medical history and examine your breasts to determine if you’re eligible for a VBL and how to be prepared.

Getting your PRP-BL:

The day of your appointment you’ll get asked to quickly change into a hospital gown. You will only need to remove your bra. Then, usually a nurse will apply a numbing cream to your breast so that it can set in for about 30 minutes. During that time, a sample of your blood will be taken and placed into the centrifuge machine. This draws out the PRP, separating it from the red blood cells. Depending on your desired results, a hyaluronic acid may be combined with your PRP solution. Finally, your provider will inject the solution in your breasts.

How does it work?

Your skin was injected with PRP solution and now that injection will create a small “injury”. Your body will naturally receive a trigger to create new tissue. This will enable the process to begin. Keep in mind, these changes will be gradual. You’ll notice changes in both your breast tone and texture. The full results should be visible within three months and last up to two years.

Remember, the PRP-BL will help with the appearance of a fuller, firmer breast and help minimize the appearance of things like wrinkles, scars or stretch marks. It is non-invasive, making it a safer alternative, but it will not achieve things like eliminate sagging breasts, create a new shape or add an entire new cup size. The treatment is still fairly new, so make sure to review any risks or concerns you may have before you book your appointment. The PRP breast lift is sure to bring out your most natural and confident self!
